about them

My mom's name is Margy and my father's name is John.  They are both currently in their 60s and live in Frederick, Maryland.  My parents are both very proper.

My mother is a former history professor at the University of Maryland and a semi-retired contractor for the Justice Department editing documents to be published.  She is incredibly smart and a stickler for using your intelligence.  (My fondness for correct spelling and grammar came from her!)  When Margy gets angry, she becomes really tense and holds grudges.

My father is your typical Polish man--loud and not always the best listener.  He is in his late 60s, goes to the gym everyday before the sun comes up, and church every Sunday.  He is smart, but naive and very trusting.  My dad can be patient and when he gets angry, he doesn't stay that way for very long.  (Thankfully, I learned this behavior from him!)  When we have arguments, they are pretty ridiculous in the sense we are loud, rude, and in each other's face and 5 minutes later, laughing about something completely different.

John and Margy live in a historic house and spend their time gardening, working on the house, watching critically acclaimed movies, and reading.  They love their amazing daughter, even if they express it differently than normal parents.
